Johnny is a versatile Chicago-area musician known for his solo piano work and lively band performances. Whether playing intimate restaurants, private events, or Shirley’s Piano Bar, he is sure to make the night a memorable one. As leader of the Johnny Burnett Band (a 7‑piece outfit), he channels classic rock influences—The Beatles, Van Morrison, Chicago, Steely Dan, Bowie, Billy Joel, Elton John, Prince, Santana, ELO, and more—while sharing lead vocals with Kandalyn Hahn and Brian “Murph” Murphy. He also fronts The Pepperland Rockestra, a 10‑piece Beatles tribute band that scored 1st place in the 2015 Battle of the Bands at the Fest for the Beatles, and continues to appear there annually.
